All In One SEO Plugin

Plugin Installation

The All In one SEO plugin is available as a free plugin and can hence be installed from your website under the Plugins > Add New section within your website.

Setting Up All In One SEO

Once the plugin is installed and activated, there will be a setup wizard rendered. 

Once here, you will need to click on the “Let’s Get Started” button.


Step 1

If you have other SEO plugins installed, the first option within the wizard will be for you to import the data from the plugin. Below is a sample screenshot:

Within this screen, you will be required to select the category that your website falls under. 

Here you can also specify your homepage SEO meta.

Step 3

You can then proceed to the next step whereby you can specify whether you want your site to represent a person or an organization.

For a person, you can specify a user, a default social image as well as the social profile URLs’

As for an organization, you can fill in the organization name,phone number, contact type, logo, default social image, as well as the social profile URLs’.

Step 4

Within this step, you can then enable the SEO features you would wish to enable. SEO features such as Sitemaps, Optimized Search Appearance, Analytics and Image SEO are  enabled by default.

Step 5

Here we will have a preview of how the site looks in search results. You can also click on it in order to alter the title and description.

You can also specify whether the site is under construction or live, for indexing purposes.

In addition , you can include all post types in search results within your site. If you do not wish all to be included, you can turn off this option and include only the specific post types.

Still within this section, you can enable the Sitemap option, of which serves as a blueprint to your site that enables search engines index your site content.

If your blog has multiple authors, ensure that you select the “Yes” option and “No” on the contrary.

It is also highly recommended to turn on the “redirect attachment” option as this will contribute to having a high SEO score.

Step 6

Here you can fill in your Email in order to receive SEO recommendations of your website.


Step 7

This section allows you to fill in your LIcense key if you have purchased the pro version of the plugin. You can skip this step if you are using the free version of the plugin.


With the above carried out, you can then finish the setup wizard.

Note: All the above settings can be altered later on from the dashboard section, and hence if you need to tweak something, there is always a chance to do so.
