Checking your site’s visibility settings

By default, WordPress contains an option to discourage search engines from indexing your site. This option is present under the Settings > Reading section within your WordPress dashboard as illustrated in the screenshot below:

This option is particularly helpful when developing your site. However, at times, it’s likely that this option could be left enabled after development completion, which makes the site not available to search engines.

It is hence a requirement that you counter-check on this section and ensure that the option is not enabled within your site.
